Some people are also paying hundreds of dollars for a single fashion brand zip tie, but I wouldn’t say that makes it good value for money 😉
I do agree however that any modern analog camera of decent quality won’t be cheap. Considering how much of a niche film photography is, I think $650 is a fair price.

In reply to Khürt L Williams. Why not $650? Sounds like a deal to me. All the now on their last legs premium p&s cameras are much more than that. A Lomo lc-a is $300 and that camera is basic compared to this. After the lomo the next cheapest new 35mm camera is a Leica M-A at $5400.

In reply to Khürt L Williams. When I first heard about this new film camera I had an idea in my mind of how much it would cost. $650 was a lot lower than I thought. It might not be for me, as I have plenty of cameras already, including two Rollei 35s. Modern digital cameras are selling for thousands, and that is from large manufacturers with economies of scale. I think that $650 from a small-scale manufacturer for a brand new camera is a very competitive price indeed.
