I’ve recently bought into the Fuji system…started with the Xt3 and the 18-55 kit lens and was bored out of my mind. Began looking at vintage glass and discovered your reviews and have enjoyed your perspective. You do a great job. I’m also in Albany NY and it is nice to see someone local doing this kind of work. The sample photos for the lens are great and I’ve shot some of very same locations recently. Keep up the great work you’re doing !

Fuji are putting out such excellent lenses we are spoiled for choice and when we stick them on an Xpro2 its photographic joy to get out shooting , a feeling i can honestly say i never got with my Canon full frame DSLRs , although the quality of the Canons was and is very good the 70/200 2.8 for example it all seems such a chore to shoot with them these days .
Enjoyed the article more power to you thanks.

Joe – I mostly wanted to take a cheap shot at the old 4.6l modular motor and the 5.4l Triton, but I didn’t want to go too deep. There is no love lost between me and those two engines. Until the Coyote came out a few years ago I REALLY missed the Windsor!

I figured Ford vs. Chevy was a rivalry everyone knew. I learned to drive in a ’62 Ford COE tow truck(4-speed with a 2-speed rear end, my grandfather figured if I could handle that I could drive anything), and all of my grandfather’s work trucks have been Fords going back a LONG time. I’ve had the odd Mustang and my girlfriend has a Fiesta. There aren’t any Fords in my personal stable at the moment, but there will probably be another Fox Body Mustang 5.0 in my future whenever I get tired of my Porsche 944S.

I’m definitely Ford biased, and not a Bills fan! Thanks for reading, and I’m glad you enjoy the site.

Usually w my morning coffee. Today I have agita. Ford Loyalists? I know not a lot about camera stuff (although I am learning here), but I do know trucks. There’s Ford then the rest. Sorry you may drive something else. You write well on subjects pertaining to this site. I agree with the Bills comment though. Good job.
