I have just received this book. I ordered it after reading this review, and I have very few photo books (Sally Mann, Sergio Larrain). It seems there are only a few copies left. It is beautiful, restrained and a glorious physical object. In answer to post #2 given the cost of book production it is basically being given away for free. Get one while you can.

Just seen this review and checked out the video on Photobookstore. The Dreaming looks utterly lovely and right up my street – thanks for drawing my attention to it. The only issue is really the price – at £45 for a softback it’s pretty steep. I suspect the photographer isn’t making much money out of this at all so I’m not accusing anybody of profiteering. It’s just a shame that the apparent cost of producing books like this puts it out of the price range for many people. Still a lovely book though!

I bought a copy of this title with a print several months ago. It’s an absolute sumptuous piece of work and one of the finest in my meagre collection of photography books. So glad to see it get more publicity.
