Feel free to delete my original post – I finally found an example of the Baby Rolleidoscop that was affordable! :). I’ve used it for a number of 127 Film Days since that time.

A Mamiya 7 would button up so many bones of contention I have with shooting medium format more regularly. However, considering that my “number 2” choice would be a 500-series Hasselblad, that would almost completely make my M645 complaints as things to disregard, rantings of a madman.

Wanted a nice Autocord for some time. Would honestly like to pack out my collection of lenses, but that is a dream for the future.

I got a very good deal because the meter was not functional. The rest of the camera was in beautiful shape. I had it CLA’d but as there are no parts available, the meter remains dead. I recently purchased a very low profile shoe adapter for my tiny Gossen meter which now sits atop the Makina making it a still very compact 6x7camera. Did I mention that the images I get from the Makina 67 are nothing short of spectacular? Nikon went all out in producing the lens and the rest of the camera is in Leica quality built territory. As the owner of several Leica cameras; digital and film, I speak from experience. If anyone decides to buy one of these gems, just remember to return the focus to infinity before collapsing the bellows. If you forget to do that, you’ll have a very expensive paperweight. Reading the reviews on line and downloading the user manual from https://www.butkus.org
( don’t forget to pay him) will keep you out of trouble.
