A few examples of landscapes I shot with the “old” purple (in the very green archipelago of the Azores) https://www.lomography.com/homes/vicuna/albums/2384974-purple-azores-1-fuji-ga645
And a comparison portrait shooting between the “old” and the “new” Purple https://www.lomography.com/magazine/342746-vicuna-s-choice-old-or-new-lomochrome-purple

Why would you not simply order the film directly from Lomography via their website?

I was gifted a roll last year and was really pleased with the way it rendered natural scenes when I shot it at ISO 100 (to get the most purpley goodness outa the roll). Looking forward to shops having 35mm rolls in stock again… someday.

Digital filters, like a polarizer, are hard to get it in a way that still feels like a photograph and not like a digital image extracted from a photograph; there are many little details that hints that something is amiss or lacks coherence. I read some persons use, if I recall well, an orange or yellow filter to change a bit the colors.

I’m happy to see others experiment, but I’ll stick with continuing to try and master “normal” films 🙂

I liked the results on architectural details but not so much on landscapes. I think it was because the fences/gates/doors could really be any color, whereas grass, leaves, well . . . green. I have another roll I plan to take out soon.
